Welcome U.S. Congressional Delegation of the Representavive House to Hanoi and Hochiminh city - Jan 3 & 4, 2008

Happy new year 2008 with friendly and open-hearted bilateral relationships!
Welcome warmly the very important congresspersons in the United States House of Representatives -Steny Hoyer (D.P.) and Roy Blunt (R.P.) with delegation to visit 2 biggest cities of Vietnam. Hopefully, as always enthusiastic and hospitable receptions of Vietnam would be well impressive. Such several significant visits are good always - for people of the two countries, for diplomatic relations.
"No one's perfect", neither is a country! Unlike previous challenging visits, this time, I would say there's no longer in tension, no more sensitive hurt, things seem to be brightening. The dissident groups can tell about something from their points of view but not somethings against the people's happiness and national interests. Let's believe lawmakers whom pay their visits from time to time, from place to place to observe daily life of people before their judgements and making decision for the laws, showing sincerely are responsible and concerned for folks, for nations. Very good!
Again, let's thank the whole strongest bipartisan delegation of the U.S. Congress for their subsequent visit, let wish people of the two countries - better happiness, good health and a happy new year 2008.

Sincerely,
Kan Nguyen

Hi Nguyen,I agree with you.Bilateral relations between Vietnam and the United States need to be warm.If Vietnam has some growing pangs and problems with some human rights issues it must be understood by the West that a country impoverished by war must be treated with an overarching principle of tolerance afterall Vietnam is not an easy country to govern and grow...'worker's united will never be defeated!'...Tom Hardy Australia
